The alpacas and llamas are gentle and curious animals, trained to be easily walked with the halter. They are part of the camelid family that comes from South America. Alpacas are famous all over the world for their soft and warm fleece, without any lanolin, that is why they are almost 100% hypoallergenic and odourless. They have a good character and a sweet and nice look. During our organised activities you will be able to meet these nice furry animals, without any stress. Not only kids, but also the grown-ups will be thrilled about it.
An adventure to enjoy during your holiday in Valdidentro: a wonderful walk with our alpacas and llamas. The excursion will take place along the paths through the Stelvio National Park. As well as capturing unforgettable moments with our furry friends, you will be able to admire breathtaking landscapes and views!
The experience lasts one hour and the activity is also suitable for younger children! You will be able to interact with these fantastic animals, stroke them, take lots of photos and videos and lead them by halter on a small trail around the Nira Resort. During the walk, our staff will tell you lots of interesting facts about them so that you can learn more about these wonderful creatures.

For children under the age of 16 years, the presence of an adult during the walk is required; all participants in the experience are considered to be payers regardless of alpaca/lama possession.
From the 1st of October till the 1st of July activities will be available every day with a minimum of 6 partecipants at the following times: 10.00-11.00,11.00-12.00 , 14.00-15.00 and

Are you ready for a magical experience under the stars with our sweet furry friends? Evenings in the company of our alpacas and llamas await you from the 1st of Dicember , every Saturday and Sunday!
The activity lasts about an hour and a half, starting at 5 p.m., and includes the use of a special front panel to illuminate the route in the evening hours.
To add a touch of relaxation, at the end of the walk: mulled wine or hot chocolate a warm cuddle to comfort you from the cold and end the evening in the best way!
The cost of the experience is € 35,00 for adults and € 20,00 for children aged from 3 to 13.

Trekking in the woods with our alpacas/lama * Summertime from the 1st of July till the 1st of October
An adventure to live during your holidays here in Valdidentro : a wonderful walk with llamas and alpacas for about 3 hours.
The trekking route develops along the trails that go through the fir woodsand skirt brooks , in the Stelvio National Park. It will be possible to enjoy a marvellous view and rest in designated areas. During the breaks you will be able to meet these animals and take lots of photos.
In case of bad weather the trekking will be cancelled or postponed by the management.
The cost of the trekking experience is € 55,00 per person adult or child , it includes the water bag and the possibility to take an alpaca or lama for a walk. For the escorts without any alpaca/lama the cost is of € 35,00 per person . Children beneath 6 years old are not allowed for the trekking.
The minimum number is of 6 partecipants , the maximum is based on how many alpacas are available for the trekking.
Family package : 2 adults with alpaca/lama at the price of € 50,00 per person , two or more children between 6 and 14 without alpaca/lama at the price of € 25,00 per person.
The Trekking with alpacas awaits you every weekend from 01 of July to 30 of September in the following time slots:
* every Saturday morning from 09.30 to 12.30
* every Sunday afternoon from 14.30 to 17.30
During high season and on request for at least 6 partecipants , trekking will also be available during the week .
